My name is Robert Angart, BS, MBA, CTP, CPA (non-active). I have over thirty years of experience serving both individuals and businesses with a focus on investment management and financial planning services. Throughout my career, I’ve concentrated on helping clients allocate their assets to achieve the greatest benefit from investment, income tax, and estate tax perspectives. My work involves deep experience with 401(k) plans, profit-sharing, pension plans, IRAs, and other qualified retirement plans.
In addition to wealth management, my career has included roles as a President and Chief Executive Officer of Nippon Paint Automotive Americas, senior financial executive and business consultant. I have worked extensively on company reorganizations, debt restructuring, operations management, and the development and implementation of strategic business plans. My expertise also includes acquisitions and divestitures, consolidations, cost reduction strategies, and innovative financial structuring.
Over the years, I have written articles published in leading financial outlets, including The Importance of Funding Your Trusts, Growing Your Financial Planning Practice, and Strategies for Declining Industries. I have also had the privilege of serving as a guest lecturer for the Ohio Society of CPAs and the National Association of Investment and Financial Advisors.
I earned my Master of Business Administration from John Carroll University in 1990 and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Cleveland State University in 1976. I obtained my CPA license in 1979 (currently non-active) and became a Registered Investment Advisor in 1996. In 2004, I earned my certification as a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).
In my community, I have served in leadership roles with several organizations. I was a board member of the Financial Executive Institute and served as Treasurer of Temple Tifereth-Israel, where I co-chaired the $10 million investment committee. I also held leadership roles as Board President of both New Avenues to Independence and Nippon Paint Automotive Americas.
